MY PASSION

My name is Toby. I was born and brought up in a humble workers town called Halifax. I've lived here for all 19 years of my life, and it's where I developed my passion for producing, mixing, and mastering. I am currently studying a Level 4 Music Production course at Calderdale College where I continue to enhance my abilities.

I've loved music all my life, and when I discovered that I could not only make my own music, but mix and master it to sound like my favourite records, I was instantly hooked. Since then, there's not a day I've spent without music spilling into me and creativity pouring out.

The dedication and years behind me has been perceived and praised by many, and I'm happy to be finally offering my services to the public. I'm open to working with whatever genre you have to offer, but my expertise lie in indie, rock, and metal as these genres are where I gained most of my experience.

In both my writing and my production style, I've found a great amount of influence from metal bands such as Mastodon, Gojira, and Baroness. Deftones are also a large influence, as well as Loathe and While She Sleeps. I also love the sound that bands such as Wunderhorse and Fontaines D.C. bring to the table; a modern twist on classic genres.
